Next Mythos-Class Model released by September 7, 2026?
Pre-release cyber evaluations have resumed under new safeguards, so Anthropic’s next Mythos-class model is highly likely to launch publicly by September 7.
The official public record still lacks a successor model, model card, pricing entry or functioning API name, which weighs against such a rapid launch. However, resumed evaluations, testing across some accounts and distinctive cloud-platform behavior indicate that release preparations may already be advanced. Anthropic can complete much of that work privately and expose the finished model across public channels with little advance notice.
